Position Title:
Head Sales Engineer
Reporting to:
Regional Manager
Purpose:
To achieve and control the sales strategies and activities of the business. Through the identification of new customers and servicing of our existing client base in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to extend and develop Sales Revenue across Australia.
- Utilising an existing database and adding to it with qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail, trade shows, email and networking.
- Assist in the development of marketing plans.
- Be involved in the preparation of sales budgets, reports and forecasts in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Maintenance of customer information in the company’s database (CRM) to ensure the correct clients are targeted with marketing initiatives and the maximum number of leads are generated.
- Prepare and conduct presentations to portray a professional image to the client in order to maximise your order closure potential.
- Provide competent field demonstrations to show the precision of our equipment and competency of our staff.
- Interact with clients in a professional and prompt manner
- Provide customer training to ensure the best results are always achieved when our equipment is used by our customers.

Experience/Qualifications:
- Ability to achieve sales quotas
- Preferable to have had Sales experience in the water industry or similar industries like Gas or Engineering.
- Experience in all aspects of relationship management is desirable
- Willingness to travel (Australia Wide)
- Knowledge of water leak detection, pipe locating, pressure control and pressure/flow monitoring would be advantageous.
- Tertiary qualified or equivalent experience
- Must have good computer skills.
