Log pressures from hydrants with a hydrant cap. The Hydrant Cap and Metrolog Pressure logger will fit into most hydrant chambers enabling the chamber to be sealed. 

Hydrant Caps provide a safe and compact method of taking a water sample from spring hydrants. The base of the hydrant cap pushes the spring down as it locks into the hydrant. The one way push fit connector at the top of the hydrant cap will not release water until a male connector is inserted.

The hydrant cap is an essential tool for pressure investigations, identifying critical pressure points and hydraulic modeling.

A special tool is required to insert and remove the hydrant caps, we call this a “Hydrant Cap Insertion Tool.”
