The Cellos 6 is commonly used as an Automatic Meter Reader (AMR) to transmit data from water, gas or electric meters to a hosted web page by GPRS or to a host PC by SMS.  Most meters can generate a pulsed output with a reed switch.  The data from this Automatic Meter Reader can be viewed on a website, without the need to install software on your PC.  Test drive the webhosted data from the AMR logger by going to www.webpmac.com and logging in with user name “guest” and password “guest”.
