The Aquascope 3 Ground Microphone has superior clear sound quality using digital technology which has almost eliminated the background static noise. This significant reduction in background static noise has made it easier for new operators to become good leak finders.
This Ground Microphone has minimum noise profiling and a memory function that displays the minimum noise levels for each of the last eight soundings, making it easy to determine if you are getting closer or further from the leak.
The Aquascope 3 control unit is worn around the waist to provide you with the ability to hold your geophone / ground microphone in one hand and press buttons on the Aquascope controller with the other. If you have used a water leak detector that hangs around your neck you will know how difficult it is to press buttons while carrying the geophone / ground microphone. Wearing the water leak detector around the waist also prevents it from swinging around whilst you are walking.
The Aquascope 3 Water Leak Detector kit is normally supplied with both the electronic listening stick and the ground microphone / geophone to enable the operator to localise and pin-point leaks in water pipes in walls and underground.
